Viswanathan Anand (born 11 December 1969) is an Indian chess grandmaster and the current World Chess Champion.
Anand won the FIDE World Chess Championship in 2000, at a time when the world title was split. He became the undisputed World Champion in 2007 and defended his title against Vladimir Kramnik in 2008. With this win, he became the first player in chess history to have won the World Championship in three different formats: Knockout, Tournament, and Match. He will next defend his title in the World Chess Championship 2009 against the winner of the challenger match between Veselin Topalov and Gata Kamsky.
Anand is one of four players in history to break the 2800 mark on the FIDE rating list. He was at the top of the world rankings five out of six times, from April 2007 to July 2008. In October 2008, he dropped out of the world top three ranking for the first time since July 1996.
In 2007 he was awarded India's second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan. He is also the first recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 1991-92, India's highest sporting honour.
My Dream :

My Ship in a Bottle

My Ship in a Bottle
My Art Attack - Inspiration & Creation - When my all friend went to Picnic, I used my time to make this from ART ATTACK. I found an empty bottle of Coca Cola & other waste materials. I started to work on it. If you want to make one then- 1. Start off by cleaning out a plastic bottle that's wide enough to fit a ship inside. 2. Use a rounder to pierce a hole in the top of the bottle. 3. You can use this hole to get a pair of scissors in easily, so that you can carefully cut a rectangular door into one side. 4. Try to keep the hole as neat as you can! 5. Put the bottle and the door you cut out of it to one side. 6.Next, draw the shape of a boat - as if you were looking at it from above - onto a piece of cardboard box card. 7. Use this as a template to draw around onto some more cardboard box card. 8. Cut off the pointed end of one of these cardboard pieces and the other end, too then glue the full boat shape onto the card base & use tooth picks for masts and white paper for sails. Finally paint it & paint the base blue & paste the ship on the base & put it in the bottle through the door and tape it.
